2014年10月20日，美國(guó)大學(xué)來(lái)訪與小型教育展
October 20, 2014 University Visit/Education Fair

10月20日下午1時(shí)20分左右，十余位來(lái)自美國(guó)7所著名大學(xué)（它們分別是艾德菲大學(xué)、加州路德大學(xué)、俄克拉荷馬市大學(xué)、北伊利諾斯大學(xué)、東肯塔基大學(xué)和理查德斯托克頓學(xué)院）的教授及美國(guó)最大的語(yǔ)言學(xué)校ELS中國(guó)地區(qū)代表來(lái)訪中美英才班。
October 20 1:20 pm, more than 10 professors and representatives from 7 famous American universities (They are Adelphi University, California Lutheran University, Oklahoma City University, Northern Illinois University, Eastern Kentucky University and Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.) and the biggest language school in U.S. - ELS visited Sino-American Elite Program (SAEP).

首先，中美英才班的總裁Dan向來(lái)訪的客人們介紹了中美英才班概況與課程設(shè)置，以及美視學(xué)校概況。并帶領(lǐng)大家參觀學(xué)校和英才班。
The CEO of SAEP Dan introduced our Sino-American Elite Program and Meishi International School to the guests, and guided them to take a look at school and our program.

緊接著，ELS的兩位中國(guó)地區(qū)代表向英才班高一和高二同學(xué)介紹了ELS的歷史與發(fā)展、申請(qǐng)美國(guó)大學(xué)的相關(guān)知識(shí)等。同學(xué)們不斷驚嘆于ELS在美國(guó)大學(xué)內(nèi)的分校的風(fēng)光、設(shè)施和各種數(shù)據(jù)，積極與演講老師Steven互動(dòng)，表現(xiàn)出對(duì)ELS的極大興趣。
Almost at the same time, two representatives for ELS in China gave all Gaoyi and Gaoer students a presentation regarding its history and development, and knowledge about American university application process and so on. Students were so surprised about the environment, the facilities and the facts in those universities which the lecturer Steven presented. They really said numerous “WOW” during the presentation.

參觀完畢后，學(xué)校代表們開(kāi)始在會(huì)議室布置各自的展位。
Professors and representatives were preparing their university booths after taking a look at school.

而另一邊，ELS代表的展示介紹結(jié)束，三個(gè)年級(jí)的同學(xué)紛紛來(lái)到行政樓會(huì)議室，參加此次的小型教育展。
Meanwhile, ELS presentation finished. Students of three grades came to the conference hall of Administration Building to attend the Education Fair.

同學(xué)們主動(dòng)與各學(xué)校老師交談，向老師們提問(wèn)，以了解各個(gè)大學(xué)的情況和錄取要求，索要大學(xué)宣傳冊(cè)和資料，并為感興趣的大學(xué)留下個(gè)人信息及聯(lián)系方式。
Students started conversations with professors actively, asked questions, learnt about the facts and admission requirements, asked for booklets and flyers, and wrote down their contact information for those universities they are interested in.

下午四時(shí)左右，密蘇里大學(xué)和科羅拉多大學(xué)波德分校的老師來(lái)訪英才班辦公室，與英才班學(xué)子近距離交流，詳盡解答同學(xué)們的提問(wèn)。
And the representatives of University of Missouri and University of Colorado – Boulder visited SAEP students at around 4:00pm. Two representatives communicated directly with some Gaosan students, and modestly and kindly answered their questions raised by these students as detailed as they could.
